Jessica was born in London, Great Britain, in February 1966. Her father is British, her mother French.
She has both British and French nationalities. She is bilingual and also speeks fluent spanish.

Jessica has a passion for storytelling in it's various forms.
After having been an actress for more than fifteen years, she focuses on image.
She wrote and directed three short films and a 52' documentary.
She is also a photographer.
To her all these lines of work interact.


SCOLARSHIP :

She finished her studies in Paris, obtained a first prize in philosophy at the Lycée Montaigne. She then went on to the National Institut of Oriental Languages and Civilisations (INALCO), the French university, where she studied Bambara, the West African language, and ethnology.
Simultaneously, she studied dramatic art with Steve Kalfa and Blanche Salant at the American Centre.

ACTRESS :

Her first film, Eric Rohmer's Four adventures of Reinette and Mirabelle, set her sights on the cinema.
She has acted in French, Italian and English with over thirty directors, notably Eric Rohmer, Jacques Doillon, Jean-Jacques Beinex, Josiane Balasko, Carlo Mazzacurati, Raul Ruiz, Tsui Hark... And with actors such as Michel Piccoli, Patrick Timsit, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Mickey Rourke, Richard Berry, Daniel Auteuil...

PHOTOGRAPHER :

1997, she produced photo and video work for the Flor del Fango and P18 music bands, featuring ex Mano Negra musicians.
In 1999 and 2000 Jessica was invited to do photographic reportages about Ô Cirque, Gilles Audejean and Valérie Fratellini's circus company.
From 2002 to 2005, being part of an international group of photographers and graphic designers, Jessica works on the Daily News Project.
Since 2002 she is a still photographer for the cinema.

DIRECTOR :

2000, Premier Jour de Printemps her first short-film, shown at a number of film festivals and broadcasted by the French national television France 3 in 2001 and 2002.

In 2001 Une Equitation Sentimentale, a 52' documentary about the equestrian circus of Valérie Fratellini and Gilles Audejean produced by Ego Productions and Equidia. Selected for the Amiens International Film Festival in 2001, Une Equitation Sentimentale was broadcasted on France 5 and Equidia.


2007 Jessica wrote and directed her latest short-films shot in HD; Hong Kong 70 with Sonia Zonenberg, Nicky Naude and Frédéric Dessains, and International XPress with Sonia Zonenberg, Jacky Ido and Jean-Christophe Bouvet.
The two films were in competition at the International Film Festival of Amiens 2007.
